1. Product Sponsorship
Products in our care packages are donated. Our care packages contain an assortment of items, including snack foods (hot and cold drink mixes, jerky, trail mix, energy bars, cookies, candy), T-shirts, hats, socks, personal cooling products, entertainment items (Computer Flash Drives, DVDs, CDs, cameras, international phone cards, small plush animals, games, novelties, stationary etc), personal care products (toothpaste, sunscreen, lip balm, foot powder), as well as letters from caring adults and students around the country.

If you are a manufacturer, distributor or retailer of any of the Wish List Products (or other products you believe the troops would like), please contact Carolyn Blashek by email at cblashek@aol.com.

We welcome a contribution of any amount of product. Companies that donate 1000 items or more of product are listed as a "Friend of Operation Gratitude" on our website, with a link to their website, and included on the Friends Page of the Operation Gratitude Magazine that is sent in every package. Donors of $10,000 or 10,000 items or more are deemed Corporate Sponsors, with additional prominent banner placement on the Operation Gratitude website, Press Releases, and recognition through newsletters, media, our Magazine and at our events.

All donations are tax deductible.

As we require all our funds to pay the shipping of our care packages overseas to the troops, we respectfully request that Product Donors arrange for delivery of item donations to our facility in Van Nuys, California.

Operation Gratitude welcomes donations of all products in furtherance of its mission to support our Military.  We reserve the right to determine the appropriate use of each donated item, including but not limited to inclusion in our care packages, donation to Military bases or other charities, and/or for fundraising or volunteer appreciation purposes.

2. Donate financially by mail or online.
100% of monetary donations to OPERATION GRATITUDE go toward the overall shipping expenses required to send the care packages through the U.S. Postal Service. Our cost for each package averages $15. Operation Gratitude sends at least 100,000 care packages each year, creating a budget over $1.5 Million per year!  

Operation Gratitude is a 501(c)(3) organization; all donations are tax deductible as provided by law.

If you would like to make a donation in someone's honor or memory, please include the name and address of the person you would like notified (in the designated form field if donating online or on a note if sending a check) and we will mail a beautiful tribute letter to them; donors will receive a letter of acknowledgment for tax purposes.

3. Volunteer at our Facility

We welcome our Corporate Donors to arrange Employee Volunteer Days at our facility in Van Nuys.  We can accommodate up to 200 Employee-Volunteers on a Prep Day and up to 500 Employee-Volunteers on an Assembly Day.  We have tasks for all adults, including those with physical challenges.

Companies find these events to be excellent team building exercises, as well as fun and rewarding experiences for all who attend.

4. Special Events/Product Assemblies at Sponsors' Site
If you are interested in hosting a "Care Packet Assembly" at your location, please contact us at: OpGrat@gmail.com.  We will help you organize the event and ship your assembled Care Packets in our care packages during our upcoming Drive.

5. Letter Writing Campaign
We strive to include several personal letters in every care package.  We invite our Corporate Donors to provide letters of appreciation to our troops from employees.  These letters can be written on Corporate letterhead or specially designed postcards with the Company logo.  Please email OpGrat@gmail.com for additional details and flyers.

6. Recycling Campaigns
Recycling is a great way to support our troops and contribute to Operation Gratitude at no cost!

GRC Recyclers will pay Operation Gratitude for every used cell phone, ink-jet cartridge, laptop computer, IPOD or PDA received in our name and will pre-pay the shipping expenses.  GRC will design a program tailored to your company's needs and develop marketing and collection materials free of charge.

7. Package Requests for Employees and Loved Ones
We urge our Corporate Sponsors to publicize to their own employees the Company's partnership with Operation Gratitude. In all likelihood, you have employees who are either themselves in the Military (and may deploy as a Reservist or Guardsman), or have loved ones serving.  We encourage those employees to submit package requests through our website: Request Packages.  We have found that the employees feel an extra sense of pride and goodwill knowing that their company has supported this effort.
